QA Engineer - Test Automation (f/m/d)

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, caring, and proactive QA Engineer - Test Automation (f/m/d) to join the core product team of our client and help them shake up the world of medical software development!

Your responsibilities will include

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure testable features and define scenarios

• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests with Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber

• Enhance the test framework to improve stability and scalability

• Support validation activities and ensure compliance with requirements and standards

• Create manual test cases when needed and support test runs in CI (e.g., GitHub Actions)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years specifically focused on test automation for web applications

• Over 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript, or more than 2 years with JavaScript

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress

• Knowledge of similar JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks (e.g., Protractor, WebdriverJS, NightwatchJS) is also welcome

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and quality assurance processes

• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), ideally with Cucumber
